Check your junk mail folder

Don’t lose your voice: check your junk mail folder!

In the last week we have sent email communication to all members announcing the Special General Meetings to be held ahead of the forthcoming votes on the sale of Kingsmeadow.

Email to members is always marked ‘From: The Dons Trust’. The vast majority of our members have chosen to receive announcements from the Trust by email. If you are one of the small number of members who have chosen to receive communications by post, then this message is not for you.

The software we use to send out these communications informs us that a significant number of members have not opened and read the email. Whilst there could be a number of valid reasons for this, we find that the most common reason is that the email automatically went to your junk (spam) email folder. This means that even though you have supplied us with a valid working email address, our messages to you are not arriving in your inbox as you would expect.

If you did not see an email from the Dons Trust in your inbox this week, it is possible that you are affected and you will need to update the settings in your email program. Links to how to do this in some popular email programs are listed below.

Google Mail

Outlook on the web (and Hotmail)

Office Outlook 2007/2010
