31st August – SGM

Our next special general meeting (SGM) will be held at the Cherry Red Records Stadium on Thursday, August 31, starting at 7.30 pm. It will take place in the back bar.

This is the second of three general meetings to be held this year. These meetings are opportunities for members and the Dons Trust Board to discuss policies and developments within the organisation, for members to ask questions of the board and for you the members to hold us accountable for what we have (and haven’t) done.

For this meeting, the focus will be an opportunity to quiz the Dons Trust Board and the football club CEO Erik Samuelson on any subjects you wish to discuss.  In order to set the scene there will be verbal reports on a number of topic areas such as a progress update on the New Stadium, a report from the EFL AGM held in Portugal over the summer, and the sharing of the results and analysis to date on the recent surveys (on Membership, Elections and Ethical Sponsorship).

There are no formal resolutions planned for the evening beyond the approval of the minutes of June’s SGM, so after the verbal presentations there will be an extensive opportunity for you to question Dons Trust Board members and Erik Samuelson on any subject relevant to the Dons Trust and the football club.

We very much hope you can make it along for what I believe will be a lively, enjoyable and informative evening.

Please find the agenda and the minutes of the previous meeting at these two links.
