Big event at the training ground next month (Sunday 14 October, 10 am-12: 30 pm)
AFC Wimbledon Minithon 2017
AFC Wimbledon are hosting a great family event on Sunday 14 October with young Dons welcome to come along and meet first-team squad members.
As well as staging the annual Minithon at the club’s New Malden training complex, they are doing things a little differently this time around.
The picture above shows how popular last year’s event was and we hope this one will be even bigger and better!
Our Academy and Foundation are combining to put on a range of activities on the day, including the following:
• 1km Family Fun Run
• Coaching clinics
• Penalty shoot outs
• Meet first-team players
• Food and refreshments
• Face painting
• 5km Minithon
• Club merchandise and raffle
Bring the family along for a fun packed morning!
The event takes places between 10.00 am and 12.30 pm at the following address: KCL Sports Ground, Windsor Ave, New Maldon, KT3 5HA
Optional entry for 1k and all kids activities – £5 for children (U14)
Optional entry for 5k Minithon – £5 U18, £10 Adults
You will also be supporting your club’s important activities in the community through the Foundation and helping the Academy’s aim to nurture more players for the first-team.
All profits made on the day will support AFC Wimbledon Academy and AFC Wimbledon Foundation.
