We are proud to be a fan-owned club, and the ultimate decision makers are the people that Dons Trust members elect to the Dons Trust Board annually.

Elected members serve on the Board for a fixed time period, with half stepping down each year, and this year there will therefore be elections to choose a minimum of six members.

Following the announcement on 13 September that Kris Stewart was stepping down from the Dons Trust Board in order to take up a temporary position overseeing stadium business and operations whilst the club recruits a new Managing Director. the Board were left with only seven elected members.  

We immediately took advice from our secretary and also The Football Supporters Association (FSA) (as the sponsor of our rules). Subsequently,the Board appointed Edward Leek to fill what’s known as a ‘casual vacancy’..

The Dons Trust Board has agreed to appoint James Macdonald as its third director on the board of AFCW PLC, following the departure of Kris Stewart.

He will be the third board rep and will sit alongside new DT Chair, Michele Little, and new Vice-Chair, Graeme Price.
