In conjunction with the Premier League Primary Stars education programme and National Literacy Association, we will be celebrating World Book Day by giving away two hundred £1 book tokens to exchange for a book at our pop-up book store.

Wimbledon Foodbank’s back!

Following the success of the last collection at the start of the New Year, The Foundation is again supporting Wimbledon Foodbank by organising a food collection at the home game against Sunderland on Sat 25th August 2018.

Pre Match Kids Football – Mini DONS

The Foundation is launching a new matchday service on Saturday by hosting a drop-in fun football session for 5–12-year-olds on the new astroturf pitches between 1.30–2.45pm at the David Weir Sports Centre, adjacent to the car park.  Parents/guardians who want to enjoy a relaxing pre-match drink and burger are welcome to drop off their children with Foundation staff based on the pitch to be coached for an hour completing skills challenges and..

Player Development Centre Holiday Courses

AFC Wimbledon Foundation‘s holiday courses create a fun and friendly environment for children aged between 4-13 years at Wimbledon Park.

Sessions are based on developing the core skills of football, ball control, dribbling, passing, shooting and providing opportunities to implement them in match play.

All Foundation coaches are FA qualified and hold up to date First aid, safeguarding and DBS checks. 

AFC Wimbledon players and Haydon the Womble mascot will attend the sessions weekly and free tickets for the first..

Wimbledon Foodbank Collection

The Foundation is again supporting Wimbledon Foodbank this year by organising a food collection at the forthcoming home games on Sat 20th January v Blackpool and Sat 10th Feb v Northampton Town. The foodbank is based in the High Path area of Wimbledon and works to support local families in need.

The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.

Young Trust members wanted for six-a-side charity match

The AFC Wimbledon Foundation is seeking Trust members aged 16-19 to take part in a charity football tournament on Saturday 21 October, before the Plymouth match.

At the match, the Foundation is hosting a group of young refugees who live in south-west London to and is putting together a six-a-side tournament for them as part of their day.

AFC Wimbledon Minithon 2017

Join AFC Wimbledon staff, players and supporters at the annual fundraising 5km fun run. 

It will again be staged at the Dons training ground, 35 Windsor Ave, New Malden, KT3 5EY, on Sunday October 1.

The training ground will open from 9 am with the first run starting at approximately 10 am.

Donate to Foodbank

AFC Wimbledon Foundation is once again doing a collection on Saturday for Wimbledon Foodbank and supporters can do their bit by donating items before the Bury game.

Wimbledon Foodbank relies on donations to feed people who are in crisis in the boroughs of Merton and Lambeth.

Earlier this year, our Foundation team presented the Foodbank with plenty of items, thanks to generous contributions from supporters.
