REMINDER: Dons Trust SGM 20 May

The first Special General Meeting of 2014 will be held at The Cherry Red Records Stadium at 7.30pm on Tuesday 20 May.  Below is the invitation sent to all DT members:

Dear Fellow Member,

I’m writing to invite you to the first of this year’s Dons Trust Special General Meetings (SGM).

As you may know, the Dons Trust holds three formal “general meetings” each year, where members and the Board discuss policies and developments within the Club, members ask questions of the Board, and you hold us accountable for what we have (and haven’t) done over the year.

Aside from approving the minutes (SGM0513-1) to the last General Meeting (the December 2013 AGM), the main item on the agenda is a discussion on Season Ticket Pricing.  A copy of the recent article from the Morecambe programme is attached (SGM0514-2) which provides some background to what we hope will be the start of an important discussion.  There then follows a Members Resolution (SGM0514-3) regarding matchday representatives from the Trust.

We then have the regular standard items from the Football Club Board led by Erik Samuelson and from the Dons Trust Board led by myself.  As ever this will give you an opportunity to ask questions about the last season and the position for next season, including the outcome of the recent Football League disciplinary hearing, the EPPP audit and the latest developments on the new stadium proposals.  Finally, we will round up Any Other Business with a final chance for members to air any thoughts or concerns.

As ever, members who can’t attend in person may vote by proxy.  A copy of the proxy form for the Member Resolution is enclosed with the agenda.

I very much hope you can make it along for what I believe will be a lively and enjoyable evening.

Yours faithfully,

Matthew Breach
DTB Chair
