Help Bring the Dons Home

Wimbledon supporters are being urged to help Bring the Dons Home by writing to support its planning application to build a new stadium in Plough Lane.

The club recently submitted its planning application to Merton Council and until February 2 there is a period of official consultation during which people are invited to write in support of the bid.

The Bring the Dons Home campaign, run by supporters of the club, has set up an online form to allow you to submit your views online. Visit their Write Now! web page to show your support.

You can also view the club’s planning application online.

This page was updated on January 18 after Merton Council extended the official period of consultation, which had originally been due to close on January 19.

  1. The Dons will be only utlising the stadium for +- 25 match days per year!
They will also be involved in the local community.

How does that compare to the Greyhound owners application and substantiation?

  2. Im in support if bringung the Dons home to Merton. I’ve been following Wimbledon’s fortunes on and off since the mid 1970’s when the club was in the old Southern League, so although I’m primarily an Arsenal fan I do have an understanding of what playing in Merton means for the club.
