Wimbledon Foodbank has given their thanks to AFC Wimbledon and the Dons Trust for our continuing support.
For the last few years the club’s fans have supported the Foodbank with donations of food, other specifically requested items and money, all collected in the run-up to Christmas.
And in 2013 the players visited the Foodbank, which is based in High Path, Wimbledon, to deliver that year’s collection.
The club recently received a ‘thank you’ card from the Foodbank which says: ‘We have fed over 5000 people in the last 2 years and had 57 tonnes of food donated! Thank you for your hard work and ongoing support!’
We’d like to pass on the Foodbank’s thanks to all those fans who generously donated.
