Wimbledon fans are invited to join a special one-day cycle ride around all of London’s Premier League and EFL grounds to help promote Prostate Cancer UK’s 2017 London to Amsterdam cycle ride.
The London ride is being organised by a group of fans from Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust (THST). Although they will be visiting all London’s grounds, Dons fans are welcome to join them for as much or as little of the ride as they like, particularly the legs to and from The Cherry Red Records Stadium.
The ride will take place on Friday, September 2. Details such as timings are still being finalised, but it will set off from the Olympic Stadium at around 9am and visit:
- West Ham United
- Dagenham & Redbridge
- Charlton Athletic
- Crystal Palace
- AFC Wimbledon
- Tottenham Hotspur
- Leyton Orient
If you would like to take part in the ride on September 2, or to be sent more information once the itinerary is finalised, email THST’s Kevin Fitzgerald.
Wimbledon fans have been regular participants in the main annual Prostate Cancer UK London to Amsterdam ride. You can read about the 2016 event on the AFC Wimbledon website.
Update, August 27: the leg to The Cherry Red Records Stadium is planned to leave Crystal Palace’s Selhurst Park ground at 12:55 and arrive at The Cherry Red Records Stadium at 14:15. The ride will then leave five minutes later, aiming to arrive at Brentford’s Griffin Park at 15:05.
