We are delighted to announce details of our first Meet the FCB event.
With the Dons Trust election campaign currently underway, and with five of nine spots being contested, we have decided to postpone the next in our series of regular Meet The DTB sessions.
However, responding to member feedback, we will now be hosting a special Meet the Football Club Board event in its place.
Kicking off at 19:30 GMT on Monday 30 November 2020, the evening will be hosted by AFC Wimbledon CEO Joe Palmer and Commercial Director Ivor Heller. The event will be conducted via Zoom and you can register here.
You are invited to send questions over in advance to contact@thedonstrust.org (subject: Meet the FCB 2020) by noon on Friday 27 November 2020 and Joe and Ivor will attempt to answer as many as possible over the course of an hour on the following Monday.
You will also be able to ask questions live on the night via Zoom’s Q&A function. There should be plenty to talk about given the move back to Plough Lane and a hectic playing schedule – and we’re told there may even be a few exclusives on the night.
We’d like to encourage members to ask questions relating to Joe and Ivor’s specialist areas, where they will be able to answer as fully as possible.
Joe joined AFC Wimbledon as COO in January 2018, before stepping up to CEO in April last year. It’s fair to say it has been an eventful couple of years for the club in that time – spanning everything from The Great Escape to the first game back at Plough Lane.
Ivor was one of the four ‘founding fathers’ of AFC Wimbledon and has been with the Club since our reformation in 2002. In that time he’s gone from hand delivering shirts in the local area to selling corporate boxes at the country’s newest stadium.
The session will be recorded and made available after the event, initially to Dons Trust members on the ProBoards forum.
