Dons Local Action Group (DLAG) anniversary celebrations – you’re invited to celebrate #OneYearOfDLAG
The Dons Local Action Group is celebrating its first anniversary, and you are invited to help mark the occasion at a virtual event streamed live from Plough Lane.
Join DLAG to celebrate its first birthday on Saturday 20 March at 19:30 GMT.
Streaming live from Plough Lane, the virtual celebration event will be co-presented by Julia Lalla-Maharajh OBE and John Scales. Julia is the founder of the Orchid Project charity and lifelong Wandsworth resident. John is an FA Cup winner with Wimbledon in 1988 and also had spells with lesser clubs including Liverpool and Tottenham. Julia and John will update you on DLAG’s vision and reflect on its achievements this past year.
A highlight of the evening is sure to be a spectacular online auction with more than 50 amazing items up for grabs – including festival tickets, luxury hotel stays, Chessington tickets, a hospitality box at Plough Lane (as well as many other great club-based lots), John Lewis vouchers, signed football shirts, meals for two in fantastic restaurants and much more!
You’ll also be able to catch DLAG’s youngest fundraisers, Edward and George (aged 4 and 5), as they cross the finish line of their month-long marathon adventure. They have already raised a staggering £3,000! Help them achieve their fundraising goal here.
The event will be streaming live from bit.ly/LiveOneYear and is open to all: volunteers, friends, families, and the wider community.
