The Dons Trust Board held its July meeting at Plough Lane on the 9th July. Apologies were received from Alex, Hannah and Martin.The board approved the minutes from the June meeting.The outstanding actions list was reviewed with a number being completed since the last meeting.The decision to approve the 2025-26 budget was ratified.A discussion took place surrounding topics covered at the recent club board meeting.An update was provided on the clubs financial position with a lengthy discussion taking place to determine the next steps.An update was delivered on achieving B-Corp Status.The board discussed the discord server and were impressed with the data presented and thanked George and Reece,A potential commercial opportunity for the club was discussed and the board approved that it be pursued.The various working groups provided updates including the success launch for the youth engagement and advisory group.A discussion took place on managing board member workload ahead of a vary busy period between now and the end of Q1 2026.The board reviewed the implications of the introduction of the independent regulator.A closed session took place.George JonesSecretary
