The Dons Trust are pleased to announce the appointment of James Ledward and David Rey to its board. Each has experience we identified the board needed.
We also thank the other two candidates with useful skills who put their names forward to fill these demanding roles.
James Ledward – Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (ED&I). James recently caught the Dons bug, having lived in Colliers Wood for a couple of years. He has incredibly strong ED&I experience having worked tirelessly engaging with under-represented groups including chairing an LGBTQ+ inclusive rugby club where he developed their first inclusion strategy. He also has a strong financial risk management background.
David Rey – Corporate Finance. David has served on the Finance Committee for several years and is committed to focusing his board work on tackling the Club’s financial challenges. With over 30 years in the media industry, he brings extensive experience in management, strategy, and finance, having spent much of his career at Sky.
Both are appointed as casual vacancies, which means they are full board members with a term expiring at the AGM in December.
