The Dons Trust Board scheduled monthly meeting was held on Wednesday 12th November. Apologies were received from Martin, Hannah and Alex.
An update was delivered following the recent elections.
The board reviewed outstanding actions covering topics including flood updates, club policies and upcoming events and activities.
A decision made over email regarding funding for the women’s team was ratified and there was a further discussion surrounding the women’s team.
A discussion then took place reviewing answers to questions the Club board reps had asked at the recent club board meeting.
The board then discussed feedback over the recent debentures announcements.
Michele provided an update in relation to DT finances chiefly around audit.
George informed the board of the arrangements for the upcoming SGM which focuses on the draft constitution.
The board then discussed some initial feedback regarding the draft constitution. Following this discussion, it was agreed to retain the existing requirements for member resolutions to have 5 seconders.
A discussion took place on how to ensure long term wellbeing of the Trust and Board members.
A number of items were discussed under AOB including sending the Boards congratulations to Xavier Wiggins for his resolve and determination in completing walk 92.
