The Dons Trust Board held its scheduled monthly meeting on Wednesday 8th July 2026. Apologies were received from Alex, Hannah, David, and Michele.
The board approved the minutes from its June meeting subject to further redactions.
Former board member Richard Shepherd presented on how artificial intelligence could benefit the Dons Trust’s operations. Richard demonstrated several practical use cases. The board agreed to establish an AI Working Group including board members and volunteers from outside the board (including Richard).
The board ratified the Club Budget and the Constitution resubmission following prior email approvals.
The board discussed the topics on the agenda at the following weeks club board meeting.
Discussions took place in relation to future member meetings, events and elections planning.
The board discussed and agreed an MK Dons FC Fixtures Policy (Home and Away).
The board were updated about a meeting between board members Hannah, James, Graeme, and Angus and community partners from DLAG, WiSH and the Foundation with a view to setting up a Social Value Working Group.
A report was given on the first meeting of a group interested in establishing a Co-Operative of Supporters’ Trusts. The board agreed in principle to explore participation.
A potential disciplinary issue was raised by the Secretary.
A discussion took place about succession planning for key roles.
It was noted that board members were populating the shared rota for match-day in a variety of roles.
