DTB September 2026 Meeting Summary

The board welcomed the three new assistant secretaries to their first meeting and recorded its thanks to them for joining the Trust’s secretariat.

The Secretary reported on the onboarding of the assistant secretaries and other matters.

The board approved in principle the minutes of the meetings held on 3 August and 12 August 2026, subject to final review before publication.

The board had a lengthy discussion about investment matters and next steps.

The board reviewed its oversight and shared task lists and received a summary of the most recent Club board meeting. No decisions had been taken by email since the previous meeting.

The Treasurer reported that the audit of the accounts will begin shortly and other matters relating to the bond.

The board recorded its disappointment at the abandonment of the women’s team fixture on 6 September and its opposition to the introduction of professional clubs’ development sides into the league at this level.

The AI Working Group has produced a draft policy on the use of artificial intelligence, which will be brought back for approval. The board approved unanimously the terms of reference for an equality, diversity and inclusion advisory working group.

Under any other business, the board endorsed the migration of the Dons Trust website to new hosting and amended its fixtures policy to refer to Milton Keynes Dons in line with the Club’s practice.
