“Not in the wider interests of football”

Greg Dyke B Team proposal entirely without merit say AFC Wimbledon owners.

The Wimbledon supporters body today reminds the FA they are supposed to represent the interests of all members, not just a few Premier League brands.

As the elected representatives of the custodians and owners of Wimbledon’s Football Club, the Dons Trust board were dismayed to read the report of FA Chairman Greg Dyke’s England Commission. These plans appear to be seriously entertaining the idea of parachuting a..

As supporters of other clubs like Hull, Cardiff and Leeds do battle with their owners over various issues ranging from the name of their club to the colour of their kit, it’s worth reminding ourselves why we’ve done things the way we have – and why..

One Volunteer’s Awayday

For Dons Trust Secretary David Hall, the recent trip to Burton was third time lucky.

I love this club! We don’t have an oligarch or sheikh pumping zillions of pounds into it, but we do have the wonderful voluntary spirit that’s helped carry us this far, and who knows how much further.

While the Dons Trust formally represents our fan ownership, it is the extraordinary efforts of our volunteer force that epitomises the co-operative way in which we function. And..
