On Monday 9th December, the Dons Trust is holding a Special General Meeting at Kingsmeadow to update Dons Trust members on the current situation with the financing of the stadium and discuss options.

Register for the SGM

In view of the importance of this issue, we anticipate there will be high demand to attend and are therefore asking members who intend to come to indicate so via this Eventbrite page to help us judge numbers. This is not to limit rights to attend, but to ensure there is enough space to host everyone who wishes to attend in person.

Additional meetings in Wimbledon

As this is such an important issue we are also hosting two additional open meetings to help bring members up to date, discuss the options available to us and to ask the Dons Trust Board any questions. To indicate your attendance please register by clicking on the name of the venues below:

  1. Old Wimbledonians Clubhouse on Thursday 12th December  7:30 – 9:30
  2. In the main hall of the Mansel Road Centre on Monday 16th December 7:30 – 9:30

There will be no formal vote on the stadium issues at any of these meetings.

Livestream of the Dons Trust SGM

We are making arrangements to accommodate a larger than usual number of attendees at the SGM and, for those who are unable to attend in person, to livestream it on the Trust’s YouTube channel (see your original email from the Dons Trust informing you of the SGM for information about how to access the livestream. If you have not received them please (for email recipients) check your spam/junk folder, and contact membership@thedonstrust.org to check your membership status.)

More information

Again, we encourage members to read the SGM papers, which outline the situation, carefully in advance.

We have also answered further questions posted to us in an Open Letter from fans following the release the original Dons Trust statement.

If you aren’t Trust members, we encourage all fans to join and make their opinions heard.
