Following November’s Meet The FCB event with Ivor Heller and Joe Palmer, the Dons Trust Board are delighted to announce the return of our monthly Meet The DTB events.
Kicking off at 19:30 GMT on Wednesday 30 December 2020, the next session will hosted by Graham Stacey and Luke Mackenzie. Register via Zoom.
For anyone who missed earlier sessions, the idea is that, each month, a couple of Dons Trust Board members host a Q&A with members via Zoom. The format is designed to allow for more informal, in-depth, and more personal, direct engagement between fans and their elected representatives.
You are invited to send questions over in advance to contact@thedonstrust.org by noon on Monday 28 December 2020 and Graham and Luke will attempt to answer them over the course of an hour on the 30th. Subject to time, you will also be able to ask questions live on the night via Zoom’s Q&A function.
We would like to encourage members to ask questions relating to Graham and Luke’s specialist areas of responsibility on the board, where they will be able to answer as fully as possible.
Luke sits on the Stadium Committee while both Luke and Graham are heavily involved in fan engagement.
Other hot topics are likely to include plans for the year ahead, the new Dons Trust board line-up and AFC Wimbledon’s play-off charge – it’s up to you.
Luke says:
“We hosted the very first Meet the DTB session back in July, so we hope people have had enough of a break from us and are ready for another hour of stuff and nonsense. We can’t promise detailed football insight, but where else would you find two Hampshire-based DTB members talking about football ground sponsorship deals on that particular night?”
Graham adds:
“With the new board settling in, we thought it would be a good time to show them how it’s done. Unfortunately, nobody else stepped forward so you’re stuck with us again. Hopefully, we’ll be a bit slicker this time around but that probably depends on how much Baileys is still knocking around over after Christmas.”
The session will be recorded and made available after the event, initially to Dons Trust members on the ProBoards forum.
