#MeetTheDTBMeet the Dons Trust Board with Charlie and Niall

Following January’s Meet the DTB session with Co-Chairs Jane Lonsdale and Xavier Wiggins, the Dons Trust Board is delighted to announce details of our next event.

Kicking off at 20:00 GMT on Wednesday 24 February, the session will be hosted by Charlie Talbot and Niall Couper.

Register via Zoom.

For anyone who missed earlier sessions, the idea is that each month, a couple of Dons Trust Board members host a Q&A with members via Zoom. The format is designed to allow for more informal, in-depth, and more personal, direct engagement between fans and their elected representatives.

You are invited to send questions over in advance to contact@thedonstrust.org by noon on Monday 22 February and Charlie and Niall will attempt to answer them over the course of an hour on the night.

Subject to time, you will also be able to ask questions live on the night via Zoom’s Q&A function.

We would like to encourage members to ask questions relating to Charlie and Niall’s specialist areas of responsibility on the board, where they will be able to answer as fully as possible.

Charlie is DTB Vice-Chair and is leading the club’s structural and governance review. He is also a member of the DTB comms group.

Niall is supporting the Dons Trust strategy review and the Club’s volunteering restructure and is the Board’s primary contact with WiSH. He is also a member of the DTB comms group.

Other hot topics are likely to include the Trust’s priorities for the year ahead and the team’s new management structure – it’s up to you.

Charlie says:

“It’s been a busy first month or so on the Board and I don’t see things slowing down any time soon. But it is also an exciting time with some major projects now underway. I think it’s important that fans are kept abreast of things as they gather pace so I look forward to answering questions and filling in the gaps as much as possible.”

Niall adds:

“This is my second stint on the Board and I think it’s safe to say things are very different this time around – there’s just so much to get our teeth into but I have to say it has been great to see everyone pulling in the same direction – from my board colleagues to members and the wider fanbase. There is so much we can achieve together and I look forward to this chance to engage and exchange thoughts on it all.”

The session will be recorded and made available after the event, initially to Dons Trust members on the ProBoards forum.
If you have any queries about joining the event please email Hannah Kitcher on hannah.kitcher@thedonstrust.org.

We hope you can join us.

Register via Zoom.

By registering in advance we can ensure we are able to host the full number of guests and we can eliminate the possibility of unwanted attendees. By sending questions in advance, Niall and Charlie will be able to allocate sufficient time to answer as many as possible and as thoroughly as possible.
