As we are approaching the end of our membership year on 31 July, all current Dons Trust members will be receiving correspondence, either by email or post, with further details about how to renew.
The Dons Trust remains in control of AFC Wimbledon. Joining the Trust makes you a part-owner of AFC Wimbledon, with the same stake in the club as all other Trust members. Dons Trust membership continues to mean that you have voting rights, regardless of which category of membership you have, so long as you are 16 or above. You can vote in board elections and stand for election yourself (if you are 18 or above).
Updates for 2022/23 renewals
We are changing the membership year end this coming year so that it aligns with the Dons Trust and AFC Wimbledon financial year ends on 30 June.
This means that this next renewal of memberships will be for 11 months from 1 August 2022 to 30 June 2023. We are making this change ahead of plans to fully integrate membership sales into the Club’s ticketing system – Secutix – ready for next year’s season ticket sales in May/June 2023. This long overdue move will enable members to buy their memberships alongside season tickets, and also will hopefully encourage season ticket holders who are not currently members of the Dons Trust to sign up and become one of the owners of the Club.
In order to ease this transition, we are planning to charge members the normal full membership price this coming year, even though the membership will now cover only 11 months instead of 12. This is a one-off as part of the integration process to simplify things going forward.
