The next Dons Trust SGM will take place at 19:30 BST on Thursday 13 October 2022. The meeting will be held at Plough Lane, and also streamed online. Official notification, as well as details about how to register, will be sent to members nearer the time, but you might want to put it in your diary now.
These meetings are at the heart of the Dons Trust Board’s accountability to the membership. Members get to approve (or not) some important decisions and have a chance to quiz the DTB on the progress we are making with our priorities.
Members wishing to submit resolutions must ensure that it is signed by a proposer and five others and sent to the Secretary to arrive by noon on Wednesday 14 September 2022.
Resolutions can be received by email addressed to email@example.com or posted to The Secretary, The Dons Trust, c/o AFC Wimbledon Plough Lane Stadium, Plough Lane, London, SW17 0NR.
Submitting a resolution for consideration by the membership is a valid way of getting subjects onto the Trust’s agenda. If you are planning on submitting a resolution, we recommend you get in touch with the Secretary beforehand, who will be able to advise on the best framing. Any members’ resolution needs to be approved by two-thirds of the people voting, and if passed, the DTB is obliged to comply with it.
