As promised we wanted to give members an update on membership numbers for this year so far. Now that the period for renewals has passed (at the end of September) we can confirm our numbers as they stand now.
We now have a record 6,266 members. That’s 6,266 Wimbledon fans who are members and have an equal say in our shared future.
With members aged from 16 to 97 spanning the globe from south-west London to Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa and of course our largest single international membership base in the US.
Combining season tickets and membership has driven a large increase but membership growth has not just come from season ticket holders
We have:
- 2,777 more members than last season
- 3,632 members who are season ticket holders
- 681 members who joined for the very first time this season, who arent season ticket holders
- 528 members did not renew, including 280 overseas members.

We don’t want to stop there though. We have plans to grow our international membership offer and spread the Wimbledon story around the world. US membership has dropped this year so we will be contacting those lapsed members to find out why they lapsed this season and how we can get them back involved.
Current members will soon be asked to exercise their democratic rights by voting on our Majority Rule resolutions.

Membership is still open and being promoted by the Club and Trust so these numbers may well get stronger as the season goes on.
