The Dons Trust board would like to update members on recent changes within our secretariat team.
Andrea Knox, who has been the board’s secretary since January 2024, is no longer the secretary to the board. We want to take this opportunity to thank Andrea for her significant contributions and hard work during her time with us. Her dedication has been greatly appreciated, and we wish her all the best in the future.
To ensure continuity, George Jones, who has been working alongside Andrea as assistant secretary, has stepped in as acting secretary, to be supported by Reece Wheeler-Kelly who will be assistant secretary, while we work to fill these positions permanently. We are immensely grateful to both for their commitment during this transitional period.
To strengthen our team for the future, we are looking to expand our secretariat support network and the role of secretary to meet our needs as a community benefit society which is the majority owner of AFC Wimbledon.
In addition to the secretary, we will be looking for people to fill additional volunteer roles such as minute-takers and assistance for working groups and an advert for these positions will be posted soon.
