Dons Trust – Take part – November 2024

We’re in an incredibly busy period of activity for everyone at the Dons Trust, and we’re aware that a head spinning amount of information has been flying out to our members.

It’s really important to us as a board that our 6,300 members – a record now we include membership with season tickets – remain engaged and involved at important moments like these.

Here’s a summary of what’s been going on, and what our members should be aware of:

Restricted Actions (‘RA’) vote (see also ‘SGM’ below) – Majority Rule

Restricted Actions refer to the section of our rules that provide extra layers of protection for fan ownership, the ownership of the stadium and identity of the club.

At the moment, the Dons Trust is asking all members to vote on whether we can allow more investment from outside owners while keeping the club majority-owned by us the fans.

All the information is on the Majority Rule section of the Dons Trust Website.

Voting closes the 18th November

We’ve sent out emails to all members with voting links, and are continuing to send reminders to those who haven’t voted. Please check your junk/spam, and contact us if you haven’t seen a copy.

Dons Trust SGM (related to the Restricted Actions above)

A Special General Meeting (SGM) of the Dons Trust will be held on Monday 25th November 2024 at 7.00pm at Plough Lane and online.
