What happens next?

The approval of these resolutions allows the trust and the club to move forward. This is the beginning of a new chapter in our history.
Constitution implementation: We will now submit the new document to the FCA in order to formally implement the approved changes, including updating the trust constitution to reflect the new 50.01% minimum requirement.
Strategic investment: With the 15% minority cap now lifted and the 50.01% model confirmed, the board will begin the careful process of identifying and vetting potential investment partners.
Member oversight: We remind all members that this vote provides the capacity to negotiate. Any specific investment proposal or consortium will be brought back to the membership for a separate vote before any final agreement is reached.
Moving forward together: We understand that for some, this change represents a significant shift. The board’s priority is to implement these changes with transparency and care, ensuring that AFC Wimbledon remains a club rooted in its community and controlled by its fans.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping to shape the future of our club.
