As many of the Dons Trust members and Wimbledon fans know, at this time of year we normally do a collection to support the Wimbledon Foodbank. This year, however, in consultation with Wimbledon Foodbank, we have decided to postpone our co-ordinated collection.

We are aiming to recruit a Volunteer Liaison Officer (VLO).

The VLO will be responsible for establishing and developing a previously created framework that ensures all volunteers work comfortably within their role and feel valued. The role covers volunteering for both AFC Wimbledon and the Dons Trust.

Initially the focus will be to introduce the framework and raise the profile of the volunteers. Once established, the VLO is expected to maintain all aspects of volunteering.
