Women football supporters’ panel

Kick It Out and the Football Supporters’ Federation (FSF) are on Monday 8 December holding a ‘Fans for Diversity’ panel discussion focusing on women football supporters sharing their experiences of following their clubs up and down the country.  

Fans for Diversity logoPart of the ‘Fans for Diversity’ campaign, jointly run by Kick It Out and the FSF, the evening will provide the opportunity to discuss any issues encountered by women supporting their teams, ways to encourage more women to attend matches, tackling sexist attitudes and stereotypes within the game, and the role of supporters’ groups.

The panel will be chaired by Roisin Wood, Director of Kick It Out, and includes Fiona McGee, FSF National Council member and follower of Leeds United, Katrina Law of the Tottenham Hotspur Supporters’ Trust, Theresa Parker, a supporter of Bristol City, and Hayley Bennett, Education Officer at Kick It Out and an Arsenal supporter.
