Our next general meeting is on Monday, June 5, starting at 7.30 pm in the back bar at the Cherry Red Records Stadium. The meeting will include a presentation on the new stadium, plus the usual opportunity to ask questions of the Dons Trust Board about any topic.
If you are a Trust member but are unable to attend, we will be trialling using the Trust Webjam to give live text updates from the meeting. Please log in to the Trust Webjam and you will be able to follow the meeting from posts in the ‘SGM forum’ on the right-hand side of the screen. Note that the forum will not be live until shortly before the event.
As this is ‘dipping our toes into the water’, we may not be able to raise at the meeting any questions that you post on the Trust Webjam in response to the updates. However, this is something that we’d like to explore for future meetings.
A video recording will also be made of the meeting and the video will be uploaded to the Trust Webjam in the coming weeks.
As always, our thanks to the volunteers for their help with this trial and for producing the videos.
If you’re a Trust member but you haven’t yet registered for the Trust Webjam, please email our webmaster who will check our membership list and send you an invitation to join. Please don’t try and register without using the link in his invite email, as the site is ‘members only’ and if you try to register without following the link you will only see blank pages.
what happens to our club if the stadium isn’t built?
Whilst it would be a major blow, if something occurs before we have the land which means we can’t build the new stadium then the deal with Chelsea becomes invalid and we will remain at TCRRS for the foreseeable future.
