As we are approaching the end of our membership year on 31 July, all current Dons Trust members will be receiving correspondence, either by email or post, with further details about how to renew.
The Dons Trust remains in control of AFC Wimbledon. Joining the Trust makes you a part-owner of AFC Wimbledon, with the same stake in the club as all other Trust members. Dons Trust membership continues to mean that you have voting rights, regardless of which category of membership you have, so long as you are 16 or above. You can vote in board elections and stand for election yourself (if you are 18 or above).
Updates from 2020/21 renewals
Last year we outlined some updates to the renewal process that would be taking place.
This included the introduction of an additional membership option – Dons Trust Plus.
This allows you to mix the benefits of the AFC Wimbledon Stadium Card as well as be able to retain your voting rights. Benefits include:
- Voting rights
- Second in the priority pyramid along with Stadium Card holders, to buy tickets for cup matches
- Discounts on matchday tickets: Adult: £5 Concession, 18-21 and 17 & under: £3 11 & under: £2
- Exclusive offers on merchandise
- Regular club newsletters with exclusive content and partner offers.
If you are not a Dons Trust Plus member, you will be offered the opportunity when you renew.
Diversity monitoring
This year, we are asking members to complete a diversity questionnaire when you renew. The Dons Trust is committed to being as inclusive as possible, and to reflect the diverse community in our fanbase and the wider community.
To help us with this, we first need to better understand the current make up of our membership. By completing this short monitoring form when you renew or join the Trust, you will help us identify what measures we need to put in place to better support, to grow our membership and to make it as representative of our fanbase, and wider community as possible.
The information you provide will:
- Inform our equality, diversity and inclusion improvement work.
- Enable us to track membership through from eg Junior Don to Student membership to full membership and through from adult to senior memberships.
- Be used by the Dons Trust Board to monitor and review its membership.
- Help the Dons Trust Board to understand where there may be gaps and where specific marketing or interventions would be appropriate.
The form should only take a couple of minutes to complete, and you can select “prefer not to say” if you would rather not answer any question.

Integrating Dons Trust membership with the club site
We are still in process of integrating Dons Trust membership with the club’s new ticket purchasing system, which will mean that it will then be possible to join the Dons Trust via the club website, when purchasing match tickets or renewing your season ticket.
To aid us in this integration, we are also asking for your AFC Wimbledon Fan ID (if you have one). You will be able to find this by logging into your account in the ticket portal (https://tickets.afcwimbledon.ltd.uk/account) and then navigating to ‘Profile and payment methods’ in the right-hand panel. Your fan ID should appear at the top of that page.
There will be a link and further information about how to do this on the Dons Trust website in due course.
