The Dons Trust Board are delighted to announce the appointment of a new Secretary, Andrea Knox, to work alongside George Jones who is our Assistant Secretary.
Andrea Knox is both a Solicitor and a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner. She was born around the corner in Wandsworth and worked for a number of years in the City and abroad before moving to North Wales but is still a regular visitor to London to watch AFC Wimbledon and visit family. In her youth she was a very keen football player but now she accepts that her contributions need to be from the terraces and in the boardroom! Her firm Knox Commercial & Insolvency Solicitors have been AFC Wimbledon corporate partners since 2021. Her partner Martin and his brothers have been club supporters for over 50 years. In her spare time she plays competitive bridge and tries to dissuade her eldest grandson from supporting Manchester United!
Andrea will take the lead on advising the board on any legal or governance matters, whilst George will be responsible for organising meetings and agendas as well as taking minutes.
