Following the Dons Trust AGM held at Plough Lane on Monday 15th December 2025 the secretary can confirm that all resolutions passed and the Dons Trust votes at the AFCW PLC AGM were cast accordingly.

Dons Trust update – Simon Hood

The Dons Trust is disappointed to announce that Simon Hood will not be able to take his seat on the DTB at the upcoming AGM.

On the 3rd November Simon informed the secretary of the Trust a potential conflict of interest.

Simon declared the potential that he may be involved in consortium purchasing another football club.

The secretary informed Simon that this would prevent him from taking up his seat on the DTB in line with the EFL..

DTB November Meeting Summary

The Dons Trust Board scheduled monthly meeting was held on Wednesday 12th November. Apologies were received from Martin, Hannah and Alex. An update was delivered following the recent elections. The board reviewed outstanding actions covering topics including flood updates,  club policies and upcoming events and activities. A decision made over email regarding funding for the women’s team was ratified and there was a further discussion surrounding the women’s team. DTB October Meeting Summary

The Dons Trust Board held it’s scheduled October meeting on Wednesday 8th October at Plough Lane. The board approved the minutes from the September meetings subject to further redactions. A number of email decisions were ratified. The board discussed timings for the upcoming constitution review vote and discussed plans for the SGM and AGM. Dons Trust Election 2025 Results

The Dons Trust Election Steering Group can confirm the following outcomes from the 2025 Dons Trust Election. The turnout of 1660 is the second highest number of votes cast in Dons Trust Election history behind last year’s total. The percentage is 23%. Ian Hicks withdrew from the election after voting was opened so is not included in the final voting tallies.  Despite the resignation of Ian Robinson from the Dons Trust Board mid election there remained 5 vacancies.
