The candidate statements for the Dons Trust Board election 2019 have now been sent to members but you can also read the candidate statements online.

Ballot papers will be sent out to members on or about Sunday 3 November.

The order in which the candidates appear on the ballot was drawn by Neil Springate of The Fulham Supporters Trust, our independent observer. The statements are in the reverse order.

With five places on the Dons Trust board up for grabs this year, we have received eight nominations for election. In random order, they are:

Their mini-manifestos will be published in the Portsmouth matchday programme (on Saturday 19 October).

Their full manifestos will be sent to members. Voting won’t open until early November, so don’t worry about not receiving voting instructions at the same..

Elections AheadUpdate on Dons Trust Elections 2019

This is to confirm that, subject to candidate and proposer verification of eligibility, there will be a contested election for 2019.

Once the verification process has been completed, the names of the candidates will be announced.

Dons Trust members will be aware that, this year, the Trust is trialling an electronic nomination system. For personal data reasons, the verification process will take somewhat longer than in previous years, but an announcement is expected later in the week.

Following the success of the live video interviews during last year’s Dons Trust Board election, the Election Steering Group expect to endorse a similar event this year.

Trust members considering standing in this year’s Trust board election may wish to note that the proposed date is Sunday 3 November.

Members of the Dons Trust Board are elected to serve for two years and this year the term has come to an end for five board members. There are therefore five vacancies to be filled.
