Dons Trust Board Elections 2023 Announcement

Following the closing of the nomination period, the Election Steering Group are in a position to confirm that we received four completed nomination forms. As a result, the 2023 election will be uncontested. 

In line with our election rules, we have now completed a process of determining who will serve the various term lengths available.  

At the conclusion of this process, we can confirm the follow candidates have been successful in their election to the Dons Trust Board.

The Dons Trust AFC Wimbledon Club OwnersElection confirmed

The Elections Steering Group (ESG) is pleased to announce that following the closure of nominations on Saturday evening (29 October) we have received sufficient nomination applications for the seven vacancies on the Dons Trust board so there will be an election in the forthcoming weeks.

If you have proposed a candidate please look out for an email from us confirming your proposal. 

The ESG are busy validating the applications but we hope to announce the candidates at some point tomorrow (31 October).

Extra vacancy at this year’s DTB elections

Graham Stacey has stepped down from the Dons Trust Board, with effect from December’s AGM. The following are the results of the Dons Trust Board elections 2021 which were counted today by the ESG in the presence of Neil Springate, the Independent Scrutineer: 

There were 3,731 ballot papers issued and 1,371 votes cast – a turnout of 36.7%.
