The Dons Trust Board (DTB) held its monthly meeting on Monday 17 February.  The date had been re-scheduled due to the original date coinciding with the rearranged away match with Newport (although that was, of course, subsequently postponed).

Unfortunately not all DTB members could make the new date, and due to subsequent apologies from some members the meeting was inquorate for the first time in several years.

The Dons Trust Board (DTB) held its first monthly meeting for 2014 on Thursday 9 January. Here is a summary of what was discussed.

The meeting started early at 7 pm to accommodate a presentation from the new stadium architects, which included some impressive three-dimensional graphics of the proposed stadium.  It also covered areas such as positioning, phasing and construction of the various stands, acoustics, lighting, safety and integration into the wider development.  The Board asked a number of questions..

As you may have noticed, there hasn’t been a Junior Dons Christmas Party over the recent festive period. Don’t worry though, we couldn’t let a year go by without a chance to limbo dance and pass the parcel with all the JDs, so we’re throwing you a party in February.

As usual all the players and manager will attend – there will be a disco, food and games, along with a guest appearance from Haydon the Womble. PLUS everyone who comes along with receive..

This month’s DTB meeting was held on Thursday 12 December.

The Board welcomed its three new members – Mark Davis, Moorad Choudhry and Jane Lonsdale and formally acknowledged the contribution, over many years, of outgoing Board member Tom Adam. We are pleased that Tom has offered to continue chairing the Stadium Steering Group, which primarily focuses on ensuring Kingsmeadow continues to meet Football League and other regulatory standards.
