Towards the end of 2021, the Dons Trust Board called for volunteers to lead a Post-Implementation Review of AFC Wimbledon’s online ticket platform.
The review team, recruited in December 2021, were tasked with reporting on lessons learned from the implementation of the online ticketing platform for the 20/21 and 21/22 seasons. This would be used to improve both the current use of the online ticket platform, as well as future comparable projects.
The review involved interviews with both internal and external stakeholders, investigating root causes of issues found.
The Dons Trust Board would like to thank the Review team, made up of Manch Joshi, Rory Grumley, Joe Blair, Stephen Godfrey and Satish Patel for their work on the review. Collectively, they have many years of experience in a wide range of areas including IT management and delivery, eCommerce technology and software implementation and project governance.
The Dons Trust Board would also like to thank the members of staff who spoke with the review team for their time and cooperation.
The Secutix PIR Review Recommendations outlines the lessons learned. The Dons Trust Board has reviewed the report, and has recommended that the Club takes on the recommendations included, and expects to see an improvement in the delivery of future projects at the Club as a result.
The Dons Trust Board will support the Club in implementing the recommendations, where necessary.
