Dons Trust SGMDons Trust Special General Meeting – Wednesday 17 April

The Dons Trust is holding a Special General Meeting (SGM) on Wednesday 17 April at the Cherry Red Records Stadium (7.30 pm start).

Papers have now gone out in advance of the first SGM of the Dons Trust for 2019. As you may know, the Dons Trust holds at least three general meetings each year. These are opportunities to seek formal approval for various decisions and for members and the board to discuss policies and developments within the organisation and for members to hold the board to account for progress.

There is some formal business to be conducted at the SGM, including two members’ resolutions and unveiling a refreshed club badge. Note that the voting on the badge will take place before the SGM – see the relevant paper for more details.

Besides these formal items of business, the SGM will provide an opportunity for members to hear the latest developments on the progress of the new stadium project, an update on the work of the Dons Trust Board generally, and for you to ask questions. Dons Trust Chair, Mark Davis, explains more about what’s on the agenda here.

We very much hope you can make it along for a lively and informative evening. Indeed, we would also ask you to encourage any friends and relations who are members of the Dons Trust but who do not regularly attend these meetings to come along too.

All papers for the meeting are available hereWe advise you to read Paper 4 on the refreshed club badge as soon as possible. Voting for this item takes place in advance of the SGM with a deadline of 5 pm Friday 12 April.
