The Dons Trust AFC Wimbledon Club OwnersMembership Secretary steps down

The Dons Trust Board is sad to announce that, after serving for an incredible 20 years, John Stembridge is stepping down as Membership Secretary. In order to help ensure a smooth transition during this busy period for the Dons Trust, he has kindly agreed to continue until a suitable replacement is appointed.

DTB Chair Kris Stewart said: “John has given great service to the Dons Trust in his time as Membership Secretary, bringing dedication and professionalism to the role and developing a bespoke system as we have grown to an organisation with in excess of 4,450 members over a period of two decades. His commitment and enthusiasm will be greatly missed and, on behalf of all members, I would like to thank him for his considerable efforts.”

John added: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the time I have spent assisting the Dons Trust membership. I have met so many great people through the Trust and Club and am proud to have been part of our amazing progress. I think my successor(s) will find it equally rewarding.”

The Dons Trust is now advertising for candidates to fill four part-time, volunteer roles. Further details can be found here.

Interested candidates are invited to send a CV or short statement outlining why they believe they are suitable for the role by email to contact@thedonstrust.org before midnight on Wednesday 20 June 2022.
