Calling all members – make sure to have your say

In the run-up to our next members’ meeting, (Sunday 30 April at our home in Plough Lane, more details on our meetings page) we’ve asked members to vote to confirm changes to our rules to update the protection of our football club. You can read details of the proposals in the papers sent to members and reproduced on this website. Your board is asking you to vote in favour.

We sent out voting details to all registered members with email addresses on 20 March, and so far we’ve had over 1,200 members have their say. As these changes affect our Restricted Actions, members have set a high bar for votes to change them. So we need around 1,750 members to vote in total – another five hundred or so to go.

We’ve sent a couple of reminders to those who have yet to vote, and we will send more. We’ve also had a small number of members tell us they’ve not received the relevant email – if that’s the case for you (and you’ve checked your spam!), please drop a line to your Dons Trust secretary on secretary@thedonstrust.org and he will sort you out.

We hope to see you on Sunday 30 April – why not come along early for the final AFC Wimbledon Women game of the season, against Norwich City? You can get your tickets on the AFC Wimbledon ticket site. And afterwards the club is having the first end of season dinner at our new home – check out details on the club website.

Come on you Dons!
