The Elections Steering Group (ESG) is pleased to announce that following the closure of nominations on Saturday evening (29 October) we have received sufficient nomination applications for the seven vacancies on the Dons Trust board so there will be an election in the forthcoming weeks.
If you have proposed a candidate please look out for an email from us confirming your proposal.
The ESG are busy validating the applications but we hope to announce the candidates at some point tomorrow (31 October).
The main manifestos will be put online on Wednesday 2 November as per our original timetable and the mini manifestos will be published in the Leyton Orient programme on 8 November.
We are liaising with 9 Years Podcast about hustings and details of these will be announced separately.
Electronic ballot forms will be sent out to members on 12 November and postal forms will be dispatched at around the same time.
Members are reminded that they have until midnight tonight (30 October) to renew their membership in order to be eligible to vote.
