Revised dates for Annual General Meetings

The AFCW PLC board has agreed that the Group’s accounts should not be finalised until the s106 agreement has been signed, so as to be able to include in those accounts the most up to date position regarding the stadium.  As a consequence, completion of the Dons Trust accounts has been delayed and we have had to defer the Dons Trust AGM to Thursday 21 December, to be held at The Cherry Red Records Stadium, starting at 7.30 pm.

The Supporters Summit 2017

Board Member Jane Lonsdale reports on this year’s Supporters Summit, hosted jointly by Supporters Direct and the Football Supporters’ Federation and held at St George’s Park over the weekend of 1 and 2 July.

The annual two-day Supporters Summit is a great opportunity to learn more and to network with members of other supporters’ trusts. The sessions I attended included ones on clubs in crisis, preventing child abuse in football, and ticket pricing in the EFL.

Stadium presentation on the Trust Webjam

The Dons Trust AGM held on Thursday, December 8 included a presentation and Q&A session on the new stadium, given by project manager Andrew Williams and club chief executive Erik Samuelson. Thanks to volunteers who videoed and edited the presentation, it is now available exclusively to Trust members on the Trust Webjam.

Reminder: Trust AGM this Thursday

Don’t forget that our annual general meeting is this Thursday, at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, starting at 7.30 pm.

As well as the result of this year’s election to the Trust board, there will also be a presentation updating fans on the latest news regarding our new stadium.

AGM – Update on Resolution 10

Further to the Dons Trust Board meeting on Monday evening and subsequent announcement on the DT website, there has been a further analysis of the constitution and related information.

The Dons Trust Board has been advised by the Secretary that, in the light of that analysis, Resolution 10 be withdrawn at the AGM on Thursday evening 13 December.

In its place the Dons Trust Board does still wish to have a debate on the substantive issue ‘what can we do..
