The Dons Trust Board is seeking a Treasurer and a co-opted Board member.
Following the changes to the board arising from the 2018 elections, we currently do not have a Dons Trust Board member with the appropriate qualifications and experience to serve as Treasurer. The board has therefore decided to advertise the following two unpaid positions.
Please note that, for the right candidate, these two positions could potentially be combined into one board-level position – as has been the case..
The new Dons Trust board met for the first time on Wednesday 9 January for a specially convened meeting to discuss their priorities and objectives for the year. These discussions are ongoing but will be finalised at their regular meeting later this month.

All Dons Trust members should by now have received either their forms in the post (if you have previously indicated that you want to receive communications from the Trust in hard copy) or via an email from secretary@thedonstrust.org headed “Dons Trust Board Elections 2018 – Voting now open.” It will contain a link to enable you to vote.

Amended date for 2018 Dons Trust AGMIn an update from our previous post, the Dons Trust’s Annual General Meeting will be held at 7.30pm on Thursday 20 December 2018 (previously advertised for 13 December). Papers will be sent out closer to the time but Dons Trust members should hold that date in their diary.

Dons Trust SGM and AFCW PLC EGM on 8 NovemberDons Trust members and AFCW PLC shareholders are reminded of two important meetings taking place at The Cherry Red Records Stadium on Thursday, to conclude the vote on a forthcoming share issue by AFCW PLC.
At 7.30pm, the Dons Trust SGM will start. Members are asked to arrive in plenty of time because, as well as the usual check-in arrangements, we will need to check that any members wishing to cast their vote on the evening are eligible to vote..

The Dons Trust’s Annual General Meeting will be held at 7.30pm on Thursday 13 December 2018. Papers will be sent out closer to the time but Dons Trust members should hold that date in their diary.
Any member wishing to submit a resolution for that meeting should send it to the Secretary in writing by noon on Thursday 15 November (see Rule 23 of the Dons Trust Constitution for further details).
