'We need your help' signWanted: Volunteers to support Dons Trust membership section

Help needed to ensure we support Dons Trust members applying for and renewing their membership.

Since its formation 17 years ago, the Dons Trust has grown to an organisation of over 3,500 members, spread across senior and junior sections. Throughout that period, the task of servicing members’ applications to join and renew annual membership has fallen to our loyal membership secretary, John Stembridge, with occasional support from volunteers on mailing out membership cards.

Announcement of Charles Williams as DTB with Youth Engagement Priority

The Dons Trust Board is delighted to announce that Charles Williams has been co-opted onto the board, in succession to Matt Spriegel, with a brief to boost DT engagement with fans in the 16–35 age bracket.

Charles responded to the original advert last year and just missed out on the appointment at that time. When Matt had to stand down earlier this year the Dons Trust Board agreed that youth engagement remained a priority and agreed to contact Charles to..

Membership Survey Results

At the end of last season, the Dons Trust Board asked fans – both Trust members and non-members – to complete a survey. Board member Colin Dipple has been looking at the results.

Five months ago, the Dons Trust surveyed fans to gather views on DT membership, barriers to membership and what additional benefits people would like to see introduced. We invited current DT members (and lapsed members) as well as non-members to complete the survey, which was also advertised..

Survey ends on Sunday

Time is running out to have your say in the Dons Trust membership survey. If you’ve yet to respond, please don’t miss the chance to provide your views before the Sunday deadline.

The results from the survey will give the Dons Trust Board a feel for what their current members want and what new members would be looking for. We want to hear from all AFC Wimbledon supporters, regardless of whether or not they’re a current Trust member.

You can complete the survey..

Great response to survey

Nearly 900 AFC Wimbledon fans have already completed our membership survey since it was launched last week – but we want more responses!

The survey explores AFC Wimbledon fans’ views regarding membership of the Trust and is aimed at all supporters, not just current or previous Dons Trust members.

If you haven’t already done so, you can complete the survey online. It runs until Sunday 14 May and should take no more than 5–10 minutes to complete.

Trust survey for all Dons fans

The Dons Trust has launched an online survey to get feedback from all AFC Wimbledon fans about their perceptions of the benefits of being a trust member, and what other membership benefits they might like to receive.

The survey should only take 5–10 minutes to complete and can be completed online. The survey will run until Sunday 14 May.

The results from the survey will give the Dons Trust Board a feel for what its current members want and what..

DT membership: change to renewal process

All Dons Trust members please read on!

As has been discussed at the last two Dons Trust General Meetings and in recent membership renewal letters, we want to simplify the management of our membership process. So we are shifting to a single fixed-term membership period that will run from August to July – in line with the football season.

This approach will significantly reduce the workload on our hard-working volunteers and should also improve our service in terms of timely..
