Members of the Dons Trust Board are elected to serve for two years and this year the term comes to an end for four board members.

Update on the Plough Lane Bond

Amidst the recent flurry of activity on debentures, we take this opportunity to provide a brief update on the Plough Lane Bond.

We are looking for suitably qualified volunteers to join a Finance Committee, which is being formed to devise and implement a refinancing strategy for AFC Wimbledon’s borrowings.

The background is that, through the Plough Lane Bond, the development loan from MSP Capital and the Dons Trust Bond, the AFC Wimbledon group is taking on borrowings of around £10 million. Following a decision by John Dolan to stand down as Chair of the Trust’s Election Steering Group (ESG), the Dons Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of two new volunteers to the ESG.
